Influenced by French brocantes (flea markets) and a love of fine china, I started this project when I saw how much vintage china was available wherever I cared to look. Well-crafted dishes are durable, timeless, and beautiful. While many people no longer have need for twelve place settings of Royal Albert dishes, it seems wasteful to keep those beautiful dishes in storage, never to be used. At Phoebe & Virginia, we create 1, 2, and 3- tiered serving pieces as well as pedestal plates and bowls by pairing that unused vintage china with brand new, high quality hardware. The result is functional but beautiful and unique pieces that complement any home or office space.. The Phoebe & Virginia china collection is ever-growing, so we are able to offer many different styles of serving pieces in different patterns; We would also be happy to help you design custom pieces using your own china that you might like to upcycle.
